sometimes the outside shell of their nails will crack and break off to let the new one push through. ur pooch might be lacking in vitamins so call ur vet and see whats going on.my husky has very thick nails and they are quite a chore to trim and will split while i am cutting the tips off. he has never lost a nail so ur pooch might need some extra nurients in her food. call ur vet and get some info and have her blood checked out. good luckToe nails on dog falling off?
